what exactly do you think will power all these machines? fossil fuels? think again.
we should all do the best we can now.it is a real mess so do your part if everone did it would sure help.
People like you are the problem with our envirnonment. I’m guessing you’re younger than 12 and you’re habitually lazy.
because environment has no side effects but machines does!!!we shouldn’t be alive without them so have some respect and don’t tell me environment is useless.they dont need us but we need them so if you are one who hates and destroy nature then think before you act
We cannot control weather and we cannot fix damage that has already been done (e.g., the ozone layer is f*cked). I don’t think that we are “1984″ Wells advanced yet to build ionic braises that are the size of sky scrapers (we won’t even permantely fix a pothole). The point of protecting the environment is to do it now so that we won’t have to spend so much money on trying savage what we have left of it (if it is technologically possible at that point). Throwing out the trash and recycling is not a big deal, reducing toxic air emissions is not a big deal, and replacing gas with more fuel efficient liquids is not a big deal. All these alternatives are cheap as well. Why wait till the planet is on the edge of destruction to make changes when we can make cheaper and more efficient changes now?
Mother Nature bats last and she can be a mean one.
Since you seem to have all the answers, you go ahead and do it!! Its a tougher issue than you think. What you are suggesting is relative to the space elevator, in that it seems like a good thing to do and would be really nice, just that the only thing lacking is: How the heck do you do it?!
In addition: have you ever taken a walk in the woods?! I would never want to live in a world of just machines!!!
Also: Your detail on the fact that we can control the weather is totally false!!! ONLY GOD CAN CONTROL THE WEATHER
Sounds like a plan.
so we should play god? It would in the long run make our problems worse i think
We should protect the environment because the living creatures of the planet depend on it. We can’t just go about polluting water and air, and then wait for someone to think of a way to clean it up. We need to change our ways before it’s too late. We have done so much to destroy this Earth that it is our responsibility to help it recuperate.
